Meet Dr. Emily Mitchell, board-certified general surgeon serving the Greater Michiana area since 2015.  She received her undergraduate, medical school and residency training through Michigan State University in Lansing, MI. She was born and raised in Niles, MI and moved back to the area after training to be closer to her family. As a surgeon, she performs minimally invasive surgeries addressing diseases of the breast, colon, stomach, gallbladder, hernias, endoscopy and more. She also received post graduate cosmetic surgery training in liposuction and abdominoplasty from ISCG in New Jersey.  Dr Mitchell's experience in aesthetics dates back to 2005 assisting in laser therapy in Chicago. She has since advanced her laser and injectable skills through continuous learning, participating in numerous training courses throughout the years including National Laser Institute and International Association of Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine, as well as Allergan Aesthetics trainings. Dr Mitchell opened Elite Aesthetics Michiana first location in 2018 in Elkhart, IN, expanding and opening up a second location in Michigan in 2023.
